Membership
Application Process & Requirements
- Membership is open to Georgetown Univ. (GU) faculty whose research has a metabolomics component
- Affiliate membership is open to GU staff and postdoctoral fellows, as well as members of other local universities
- Membership requests will be reviewed and decided on by the CMS Advisory Committee. A decision will be communicated via email within 3 weeks of receipt
- Membership status will be reviewed every three years to ensure the member’s participation in the CMS and their academic interests warrant continued membership

Expectations of Members
- Actively support and participate in Center-sponsored research seminars and opportunity to attend annual research retreat
- Engage in discussion regarding the creation of new, collaborative research programs
- Provide information on metabolomics related publications, research grants, and research training activities to the Center on an annual basis
- While not mandatory, members are encouraged to cite their CMS affiliation in publications and research presentations, OR list in their acknowledgements
- Members are encouraged to provide feedback and can be occasionally invited to attend Advisory Board meetings to discuss their feedback

- Actively support and participate in Center-sponsored research seminars
- Engage in discussion regarding the creation of new, collaborative research programs
Benefits of Membership
- Interact in an environment that will support and foster interdisciplinary basic, clinical and/or translational research in metabolomics
- Eligibility for the CMS sponsored research pilot grant program for GU members
- Provide and receive administrative and technical support for metabolomics related grant submissions
- Receive Center Newsletter and provide opportunities to showcase metabolomics research
